Plugin Support

In addition to built-in effects, Rift Studio hosts third-party plugins:

  • VST3Scanned from standard Windows VST3 directories. Full GUI hosting, state save/load, latency compensation, and MIDI forwarding.
  • CLAPScanned from C:\Program Files\Common Files\CLAP. Parameter enumeration, automation, MIDI note routing, and GUI hosting.
  • ARA2Audio Random Access host extensions for integrated audio editing.

Effect Chain

Open via View > Editors > Effect Chain. Each track supports up to 10 insert effect slots. Effects can run in serial mode (sequence) or parallel mode (simultaneous processing, summed output). Drag to reorder, toggle bypass per effect.

Visual EQ Editor

Open via View > Editors > Visual EQ Editor. An 8-band parametric EQ with a real-time FFT spectrum background. Drag circle handles to adjust frequency (X axis) and gain (Y axis). Band types: Peak, Shelf, Hi-Pass, Lo-Pass. Grid range: 20 Hz–20 kHz, ±24 dB.
